I am asking because this is the second time it has happened to me. IDK but I'm pretty sure that's what this is. It all began on Sunday evening. I had the most horrible headache ever! I could not keep my eyes open because I felt like my eyes were going to pop out of my head. I also had a very strong urge to vomit, I never did but was very close. I had lay down in the dark for it to get better because it didn't go away completely. It still has not gone completely away. I have like a lingering nauseas feeling and the headache is still there....just not as bad.

Does this sound like a migraine?  If so what can I do to prevent it from it getting so bad?

This is only the second time this has happened to me.

Thanks to all! Love ya<3

The sensitivity to light and the nausea both are symptoms of migraines. I think Excedrin makes a migraine formula, but it's the same stuff as normal excedrin. I think the best thing you can do, as far as prevention, is to go to your doctor, get diagnosed, and they can prescribe medication that you can take at the first sign of the migraine to keep it from getting so severe. Good luck, and I hope this one gets better soon.

Relajate, cuidate y ...no dejes de ir al médico.
No te angusties.

cheese????!!!!! You've got to be kidding me! I'm a cheese lover! I'm pretty sure many people from my family suffer from them!!! Thanks for letting me know! I had no idea.

There are a variety of foods and smells that can cause it...for me it is mainly cheese and red wine...usually when I am overtired and also stressed...some people are sensitive to chocolate I believe...
keep a diary for a little while and make a note of what you have eaten if/when you have an attack again...and visit the Doctor for advice.
If it is in the family...it can be an indicator too...
hope you won't have them too regularly
